Nitrous Oxide Sedation
Whether you feel apprehensive about receiving your dental treatment, or the procedure you require is a bit more extensive than routine treatment, we may recommend nitrous oxide sedation. Commonly known as “laughing gas” because of its feel-good, slightly euphoric effects, nitrous oxide is an inhaled sedative that is administered through a mask that is placed over your nose. As the sedative takes effect, you will begin to relax significantly, appeasing your anxiety and allowing you to receive the treatment you need to maintain or improve your oral health.
